Environment and Safety


MAINDOOR - ENTRYDOOR FOB / KEYPAD

Once programmed into the software the token is ready for use. Simply present the token to a reader, the access permissions will be instantly looked up and access granted or denied as appropriate. No need for main door keys just a fob and your own apartment key. There is also a video entry system linked to each apartment.


DISCREET 24/7 SURVEILLANCE

There are five external ultra high definition camera's linked back to a dvd controller to monitor the house day and night (infrared).


LIGHTING

The house uses low power led lighting as standard mostly controlled by zones and via dimmer switches to help personalize each apartments living environment. In the communal internal areas and external pathways around the house/garage movement sensors are used for convenience to provide light at all times.

FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS

There are two detector / alarm systems in the house one covering the main hallway and stairs and an individual one for each apartment. All apartment doors are half hour fire doors with smoke seal and there are two main screens on each landing fitted with fire resistant glass.

WATER RESOURCE

The house makes best use of water in three ways there is a rainwater water recovery system stored under the garden for fresh soft water for garden and garage/car wash use. There is a WRAS approved mains water softener helping remove the hard water limescale deposits this improves the texture of the water Finally each apartment is provided with an WRAS approved salamander water pump this is an intelligent pump; it recognizes when pressure and flow is low and automatically boosts the performance of the incoming mains water.


INTEGRATED TV AND BROADBAND

Each apartment has its own TV and broadband - the TV is via Sky HD bundle including sky box for record/catch up and all the sky channels, the living room and bedroom TV's are integrated so you can walk from room to room and not miss anything and control the box from either room. Broadband is via your own router connected to Virgin media 350mbps fibre optic line. No contract just an additional monthly charge.


OWN GYM

Located in a summer house at the bottom of the garden this gym is for residents only, managed and run by residents with their own equipment. Private, secure and a great place to meet up.


BEAUTIFUL GARDEN

Here you can enjoy your very own garden as much as you want and when you want and the pub nearby Eldon Arms serving the finest cask ales, Cask Masque approved of course and wholesome pub grub at lunch time.


HIGH END APPLIANCES

Each apartment is fitted with an Induction hob as standard these are quicker and cheaper to run than other hobs because the heat is transferred directly to the pan rather than the whole cooking surface. This means you can touch the cooking surface without burning yourself - but do remember that heat will transfer from warm contents in the pan onto the hob surface, therefore warming it up. They are easy to clean just a wipe down.


OWN LAUNDRY ROOM

Available to residents two separate laundry rooms each with separate washing machine and tumble dryer.
